About the Company

My client is a consistently busy Contractor who specialise in residential new build across the greater Dublin Region.

Projects are a mixture of housing developments and apartment builds valued up to €50M

This role would suit an experienced Project Manager who has managed greenfield sites from greenfield stages right through to handover.

Ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple sites at a time or overseeing a busy high-volume site.

This is a new role within the company due to internal promotions

The Role

Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.

Oversee the successful delivery of multiple residential new builds across Dublin City

Take ownership of a portfolio of commercial and high-rise residential developments across Dublin.

Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.

Report to and support the Contracts Director and Construction Director to ensure smooth completion of projects.

Monitor and manage project budgets.

Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.

Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Projects Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.

Requirements

Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with a Main Contractor or Property Developer in Ireland.

Proven record of overseeing projects valued over €10M from inception to completion.

Background in engineering is desirable.

Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.

Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project / PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
