Operations Manager

An Operations Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our West Cork based design and manufacturing client.

The Operations Manager will have a strong background in process engineering and continuous improvement.

The person will identify and close process gaps, introduce smart innovations (including automation), and take clear ownership across production, site installation, purchasing and design functions.

THE ROLE :

• Manage and optimise the full design-to-production-to-site workflow.
• Lead operations planning, scheduling, and cross-functional alignment.
• Establish and monitor KPIs across design, production, contracts and purchasing.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with the MD to develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth and profitability.
• Manage and mentor a team of senior leaders, setting clear goals and expectations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety legislation, and environmental standards.
• Control operational budgets, including production costs, labour, logistics, and materials.

REQUIREMENTS :

We operate out of multiple locations in Ireland and have offices inCork,Shannon,Galway,Mayo and Dublin.
