Senior Financial Insights Analyst Dublin, Ireland We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Insights Analyst to join a collaborative Business Insights team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive package, where you will partner with Finance, Revenue, and senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that drive commercial performance and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for Finance and Revenue teams on data and analytics needs. Write SQL scripts for reconciliations and build SQL tables / views to support financial reporting. Lead the transition from Excel and Power BI-based processes into a SQL data warehouse. Deliver clear, aggregated reporting with drill-down capabilities to ensure a single source of truth. Scope, prioritise, and deliver projects independently, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs. Identify, resolve, and prevent data quality issues, implementing scalable solutions. Support and mentor junior analysts in data exploration, analysis techniques, and communication. Collaborate with stakeholders to scope ad hoc analysis and present findings to senior leadership. Maintain clear documentation for key metrics, calculations, processes, and limitations. What Youll Bring 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, ideally with a focus on financial analysis. Advanced SQL knowledge and proficiency in at least one visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI). Strong problem-solving ability, analytical mindset, and attention to accuracy. Experience working with billing systems and complex financial datasets. Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex analysis for multiple audiences. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and balancing business timelines. Experience in industries such as energy, telecoms, or utilities is advantageous but not essential. Why Join?
