Accounts Assistant

Your new company You'll be joining a busy and growing construction firm based in Cork.

Your new role Accurately input a large volume of invoices into two primary systems : Sage and Eque (construction costing system).

Perform monthly creditor reconciliations across several group companies to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for multiple group companies, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies investigated.

Manage general office administration tasks to support smooth daily operations, including filing, correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Generate and maintain plant hire reports using Insphire software for various group companies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within construction or finance-related environments.

Proficiency in using accounting and construction cost management systems is highly desirable.

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and reconciliation tasks.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with construction industry processes and terminology is an advantage.
