Senior Engineer (Construction)

Our client, a premier Tier 1 contractor, is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team on a major healthcare project in Waterford. This role is ideal for a highly motivated engineering professional eager to contribute to a flagship development with significant impact on the local community. Key Responsibilities : Provide technical leadership and engineering support across the project lifecycle. Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues. Ensure design and construction comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and progress monitoring. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on engineering best practices. Requirements : Bachelors degree in Civil, Structural, or relevant Engineering discipline. Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a senior engineering role, ideally within healthcare or large-scale building projects. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, and materials. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in engineering software and project management tools.
