Practice Accounts Assistant – North Dublin

Our client is a well-established practice located in North Dublin.

They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity involving the provision of accounting services to a diverse clientele.

Role

Record and reconcile bank transactions using a computerized accounting software.

Prepare Payroll using a computerized payroll software.

Manage the client's purchase ledger, including posting supplier invoices to their system and reconciling them with supplier statements.

Reconcile the monthly cash book within a computerized system, including posting cash payments and related transactions.

Reconcile VAT and PAYE / PRSI liabilities within the accounting system with revenue returns.

Requirements

Possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a busy accounts department.

Relevant Accounting degree.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with debits and credits and the ability to post journals.

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

€35,000 – €45,000
