Site Manager Educational Project Location : County Mayo Company : Leading Main Contractor West of Ireland Type : Full-Time Sector : Construction Education / Public Sector Start Date : Immediate / Negotiable About the Role We are working with a well-established and respected contractor in the West of Ireland who is currently seeking a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a major educational project in County Mayo. This is a key role for an experienced construction professional with a strong track record in managing public-sector or educational builds. The successful candidate will lead all on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth delivery of the project Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and site logistics Liaise with project managers, design teams, consultants, and local authorities Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company standards Track progress and report on schedules, budgets, and quality targets Manage stakeholder relations, especially in a live educational environment Conduct regular site meetings and maintain project documentation What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Site Manager on educational or public-sector projects Excellent knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and health & safety protocols Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage a busy site in a live school environment with minimal disruption Familiarity with current building regulations and BCAR compliance Full Irish driving licence Relevant certifications (Safe Pass, Manual Handling, CIF SSSTS or equivalent) Whats On Offer Work with one of the West of Irelands most reputable main contractors Competitive salary package based on experience Opportunity to be part of a high-profile, community-focused project Supportive and experienced project team Potential for long-term career progression across future regional projects CSRTK
