In this role you will :

Support the full construction procurement programmes from inception to completion as required

Partner with the wider team to develop and agree on a procurement strategy for all construction packages and ensure alignment with the programme schedule

Develop impactful commercial presentations and communications for contractors throughout the pre-and-post contract phases

Review and evaluate proposals and make recommendations to the wider team

Support the negotiation of pricing for work packages, analysing information and implementing strategies to ensure value for money

Be a content expert on owner's bespoke form of contract and method of measurement

Manage and ensure contract alignment for contractors and project team performance

Ensure effective coordination of incoming and outgoing contract notices

Oversee the timely execution of contract releases, payment applications and change order management

Assist in the negotiation and settlement of construction disputes / loss and expense claims

Review cost saving proposals and identify affected components of the compensation strategy and implications on contract
