Intermediate Project Engineer

Overview The Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) Department of PM Group works hard to match talented engineers to exciting client opportunities. We now wish to recruit an experienced Intermediate Project Engineer for a client site in Cork. The Project Engineer is responsible for the delivery of projects from concept through to handover, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure. They will co-ordinate the Engineering Design, Construction, Commissioning and Qualification activities on EPCV projects varying in size and scope. Previous Project Engineering experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry is essential. Responsibilities Experience of delivering medium value projects (€1-2M range) in GMP environment Support the delivery of projects from concept through, design, construction, commissioning and handover Interface with users and multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered to requirements, schedule and budget Ability to work independently and proactively within a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing site Site based role. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Ability to work on own initiative essential 5-7 years design experience with a minimum of 3 years in the Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical sectors Good interpersonal and communication skills. #LI-AM2
