At EPS Group, we are looking for a proactive Project Engineer to join our Contracting Team in Mallow someone eager to learn, grow and take on exciting challenges across Municipal, Dairy, Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical sectors. If youre passionate about engineering, sustainability and making a real difference, this is the place to start. Key Responsibilities: Plan, Lead & Deliver Projects That Matter Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets Coordinate all phases of projects including design, procurement, construction and commissioning Ensure projects meet technical specifications, environmental standards and client requirements Champion Compliance & Safety Promote and enforce health, safety, quality and environmental (HSQE) policies on site Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, representing EPS interests Communicate project progress, risks and issues effectively to all stakeholders Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle Resource & Team Management Allocate and manage internal and external resources efficiently Supervise site teams and ensure proper training and performance Resolve conflicts and maintain team morale and productivity Risk & Issue Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies Monitor project performance and address issues proactively Quality Assurance & Control Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections Ensure all works are completed to industry standards and client specifications Manage documentation and reporting for audits and reviews Financial Oversight Monitor project costs and control expenditures Approve invoices, manage variations, and ensure cost recovery Report on financial performance and forecast future needs Procurement Manage procurement activities for your assigned projects, including supplier selection and contract negotiation Manage purchase orders, subcontractor agreements and material sourcing Ensure timely delivery of equipment and services to meet project milestones Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues Sustainability & Innovation Promote sustainable practices in wastewater treatment and infrastructure Explore innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact Key Competencies and Skills: Proficiency in PC skills Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater Industry Experience in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines Qualifications & Experience: Third level Mechanical/ Electrical qualification Similar relevant third level qualification and experience will be considered Full Irish driving licence Compensation Package: Competitive salary and benefits package Robust graduate programme Opportunities for professional development and career growth CPD accredited employer A collaborative and supportive work environment Laptop or desktop and work mobile phone provided Flexible working options, dependent on location and role requirements See company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group Wewelcomespeculativeapplicationsfromindividualsofalllevels.
