Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Electrical Sector Job Description : Our client, a leading electrical wholesaler, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with a background in electrical contracting.

The position is based on-site in Dublin M50 and offers a permanent opportunity to contribute to business growth and client engagement.

Job Responsibilities Drive new business opportunities within the electrical contracting space.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat and referral business.

Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively.

Identify market trends and opportunities for expansion.

Conduct regular site visits and meetings with key stakeholders.

Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profit.

Maintain a detailed pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.

Experience Required Minimum 5 years experience in a business development or sales role within the electrical sector.

Strong background in or understanding of electrical contracting environments.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience in customer relationship management and strategic sales planning.

Desirable Skills Familiarity with wholesale electrical product ranges.

Understanding of procurement processes in construction or facilities management.

Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

Educational Requirements A third-level qualification in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Trade qualification in electrical or a similar field would be a strong advantage.

Working Hours & Benefits Monday to Friday, standard working hours.

On-site role based in Dublin.

Competitive salary package.

Base €50-60k plus OTE Sales Bonus scheme based on performance.
