Senior Project Manager

Overview of Role

A contract Project Manager is required to join an established Ergo team developing business software solutions.

A minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager is required, with a preference for 3+ years on the same project.

This is an initial 12 month contract, renewable for an additional 12 months.

Location : Dublin 2.

Job Type : Contract.

Work Type : Onsite 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Analyse business cases to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.

Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.

Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Establish a work plan for project activities, iterations or phases, with third-party vendors.

Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.

Monitor and report on internal and external project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of information.

Ensure that project goals are in line with business objectives and are achieved.

Work with a PMO and communicate with business stakeholders to ensure availability of cross-functional resources.

Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.

Review status reports prepared by project personnel and vendors, and modify schedules or plans as required.

Follow standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

Benchmark project management performance continuously to identify potential improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in science (or a related field) and equivalent IT experience.
• Project manager training and certification (PMI / PRINCE).
