Overview

Clink i Lár is on the lookout for a motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to head our Bar & Events Team at our busy backpacker's hostel in the heart of Dublin city!

Role Snapshot :

As Bar & Events Team Leader, you'll work alongside our Bar & Events Manager to ensure the smooth running of our vibrant hostel bar and fun events programme.

Your role will be to support in delivering excellent service, motivating and guiding the team, and helping to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, assist with bar operations including opening / closing, assigning tasks, ensuring service standards are maintained, and supporting your team throughout the shift.

Help coordinate events — from quizzes and karaoke to live music and themed nights — making sure everything runs smoothly and guests have a great time.

Support with stock control, assist with stocktakes, and help the manager with scheduling needs.

Work closely with the wider team to keep everything running smoothly.

Previous bar experience is essential

, and barista experience is an advantage.

Creativity, confidence in engaging with guests, and a passion for hospitality will help you thrive in this role.
