The Opportunity
As a Commercial Client Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end broking services to a portfolio of SME clients. Working closely with Client Executives and internal teams, you'll provide expert advice, manage renewals, and support the ongoing development of client relationships. This role offers a balance of autonomy and team collaboration, and is suited to an ambitious insurance professional seeking career progression in a globally respected organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver day-to-day broking services to an assigned portfolio of SME clients across all classes of commercial insurance.
- Collaborate with Client Executives to ensure client service and account management aligns with agreed service standards.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, prospects, and insurer partners.
- Prepare detailed insurance submissions and lead thorough market exercises to identify the best coverage solutions.
- Oversee renewals, ensuring timely and professional communication to secure client instructions and optimise outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and enhancing client coverage through additional products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes to ensure informed client advice.
- Promote a collaborative, supportive team culture and contribute to continuous service improvements.
Key Requirements
Minimum qualification : APA Commercial, ideally fully CIP qualified.Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products and practices.Proven experience managing SME client portfolios in the Irish insurance market.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.Self-starter with an ambitious, team-oriented mindset.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Experience preparing submissions and negotiating with insurers is a plus.Desirable
Working towards or already qualified with ACII.Familiarity with account development or expanding existing books of business.Exposure to compliance standards and procedures in a regulated environment.What's on Offer
