A leading care provider is seeking an experienced Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) to oversee residential services in Carlow. This is a key leadership position where you will ensure the highest standards of care and compliance are delivered to individuals using the service. ?? About the Role The Person in Charge will : Lead and manage the service in line with Government and HSE policies. Ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and HIQA standards. Act autonomously, using initiative to oversee quality, safety, and day-to-day operations. Foster a culture of respect, care, and excellence across the team. Essential Criteria Minimum of 3 years management or supervisory experience in health or social care. Level 7+ professional degree in Applied Social Studies (or relevant qualification). Level 6 Management qualification. Proven experience managing a residential service to meet quality and regulatory requirements. Strong skills in report writing, personal support planning, roster and people management. Excellent working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements. Full clean driving licence (eligible to drive in Ireland) and access to own vehicle. Excellent IT skills. Experience working with autism services is highly desirable. ??
