Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting a Community Person in Charge or Clinical lead to lead and manage a designated residential or community-based service in line with the Health Act 2007, HIQA regulations, and best practice standards, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and regulatory compliance in the Carlow area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Fulfil statutory role of Person in Charge (PIC) under HIQA regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with HIQA standards, Health Act 2007, Children First, and other relevant legislation.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including care delivery, staffing, risk, and safeguarding.
- Lead and supervise staff, ensuring training, support, and performance management.
- Effective communication and problem-solving.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and person-centred practice.
- Strong leadership and team management.
- Promote residents' rights, dignity, independence, and active community participation.
- Prepare for and respond to inspections and audits.
- Liaise with external professionals and stakeholders.
Requirements :
Level 6 or higher in Social Care.Minimum 2 years' management experience in health or social care.Strong working knowledge of HIQA, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.Full clean driving licence.Registration with CORU.
