• Role Responsibilities
• Facilitate and encourage decisionmaking, independence, and personal development.
• Provide support in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, health and appearance.
• Work in a personcentred manner to meet individual care plans and goals.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice
• Administer and document the dispensation of prescribed medication.
• Undertake key worker responsibilities, helping service owners achieve goals.
• Document and report incidents and complaints involving staff, service owners or visitors.
• Work with MDT to achieve the goals of service owners.
• Essential Requirements
• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
• Registered (or in process) with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU.
• Hold a full Irish driving license
• Prior experience in social care or healthcare.
• Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Garda Vetting / Police Clearance
