Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced accounting and payroll professional for a client in the Cincinnati Ohio area.
Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in Payroll and Accounts Payable along with the ability to work part time and onsite.
This role will be approximately 24 hours per week and pay between $21 and $25 / hr.
This position is 100% onsite in Cincinnati Ohio.
Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries
Prepare and process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain payroll records and assist with audits
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting as needed
Qualifications
Associate's degree in business is preferred but not required
2+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll
Familiarity with payroll systems and accounting software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, Sage)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
