Policy Associate Location : Dublin Duration : 12 months Hours : 39 hours Provide policy and administrative support to the Campus Ireland government affairs & policy / strategy team and EMEA Supply Chain Head of Government Affairs. Reporting directly to Director of Government Affairs and Policy (Campus Ireland) Roles and Responsibilities Proficiency and strong knowledge of key policy areas as they relate to Campus Ireland and EMEA supply chain strategy namely sustainability, Research, Development & Innovation, Talent & Skills, Tax and supply chain resiliency. Interface at Campus Ireland and global Government Affairs and Policy leadership members and their teams. Responding to enquiries and requests in timely fashion with clear communication Directing enquiries to appropriate person(s) Working with other J&J companies, customers, business partners, suppliers, etc. An opportunity to work as a policy assistant to Director of Government Affairs and Policy for Campus Ireland and Head of Government Affairs EMEA supply chain ADMINISTRATION Agenda management Preparation of presentations & communications Meeting minutes creation General office administration & support requests Arranging meetings, video conferences with policymakers an internal stakeholders Consolidation of Annual Planning Calendar, aligned with key stakeholders Maintaining records, filing, etc. Knowledge of procedures e.g. travel policy, crisis management, etc. Support external J&J colleagues with onsite meetings How to Succeed Educated to tertiary level at a minimum with experience in Government Affairs and Policy an added benefit. Self-motivated and well organised. Proactively handling priorities and forward planning. Able to work flexibly and under pressure to tight deadlines. Able to maintain complete confidentiality. Experience of working with senior team members. Able to work confidently and using own initiative with little guidance.
