My client, a Galway-based Medical Device organisation, is looking to hire a new Manufacturing Engineer. This is a permanent full-time role based on-site in Galway City, day shift. Responsibilities Work on assigned projects and complete tasks to achieve successful results. Improve manufacturing performance using continuous improvement methods. Use a scientific approach to solve problems and make processes more efficient. Support the development of new processes with the Automation Engineering team. Provide technical help when new products or technologies are introduced. Identify and correct issues with non-conforming products or processes. Provide regular progress updates to senior management. Take part in team meetings to support production goals. Track and report weekly performance metrics. Complete validations and process improvements using data and Six Sigma tools. Help develop in-house experts (Subject Matter Experts) in key technologies. Requirements Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally in the medical device or health care industry. Experience with balloon forming and the ability to identify the best forming parameters for performance.
