Our Purpose Our Manufacturing Engineering Graduate Program in Medtronic is focused on opportunities to develop exceptional candidates for critical roles within a diverse Engineering environment, supporting the manufacture of cutting-edge medical devices in the Cardiac and Vascular space. Our Graduate Engineers are directly involved in the Manufacturing & Process Design of innovative products for use in medical procedures. Come for a job, stay for a career! A Day in The Life Of : Contribute to manufacturing products for use in medical procedures as defined / required by the business needs of the company. Provide Engineering focus and technical support for task teams. Lead problem solving and improvement initiatives. Support the implementation of COS (Cell Operating System). You will use and establish analysis techniques and other quality control tools to aid decision-making. Liaise with cross functional teams ensuring alignment and developing strong partnering relationships with these groups. Support the introduction / implementation of product, process and material changes to the manufacturing operations. Participate in establishing the most effective, reliable, and cost-effective processing methods for manufacturing operations space in a COS environment. Actively involved in sourcing, testing, and approving materials. Responsibility for monitoring and evaluating safety practices and ensure compliance with legislation and understanding and operating to departmental and company quality procedures. Undertake specific projects as designated in support of the business activities. Document design / development / test activities as required in Engineering Laboratory notebooks. Accountable for delivering consistent decisions, actions, and results. Key Skills & Experience We are looking for a qualified person with a minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Engineering. Candidates with Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics or Electronics, who have graduated within the last 2 years would be preferred. A dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams. You are a good communicator and fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
