Orange Recruitment is hiring an HGV Technician for a client in the waste management sector. This role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of HGVs, including refuse collection vehicles, hook loaders, and curtain-siders. Key Responsibilities : Diagnose, repair, and service HGVs (engines, brakes, hydraulics, electrics). Use diagnostic tools to identify faults. Prepare vehicles for CVRT, LOLER tests, and inspections. Maintain service records and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Provide roadside breakdown support as needed. Requirements : HGV mechanic experience with relevant qualifications (QQI or equivalent). Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Familiarity with workshop safety standards.
