We are seeking a Counsel to join our Legal team in Dublin (hybrid work model).
The Legal Affairs Department provides legal advice across various lines of business, including asset servicing, custody, and fund administration.
Team Overview The team supports Irish and non-Irish client funds, advising on custodial, trustee, and fund administration issues, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with Irish and EU regulations.
Job Purpose You will advise on fund administration and global custody documentation, participate in legal negotiations, and support regulatory compliance and business initiatives.
Responsibilities Review and advise on custody and depositary agreements, fund documentation, and outsourcing arrangements.
Assist in legal negotiations and contract drafting.
Provide legal support on regulatory matters, including compliance with EU and Irish legislation.
Coordinate with external counsel and internal teams to deliver high-quality legal advice.
Develop and deliver training on legal standards and market practices.
Requirements 1-5 years PQE in a legal role within the funds industry, preferably with custody experience.
Knowledge of EU and Irish financial regulations (e.g., CASS, AIFMD, UCITS, MIFID).
Experience managing external counsel and working collaboratively with business and compliance teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a flexible approach.
