Following an internal promotion, there's now an opportunity for a dynamic and strategic Commercial Account Director to step into a high-profile role managing a portfolio generating over €800k in income.

The Opportunity This isn't just another Account Director role.

It's a chance to build something meaningful.

You'll take ownership of a well-established portfolio, backed by a strong support team, and work closely with the Regional Director to shape both your future and the firm's.

If you're ambitious, commercially sharp, and enjoy building lasting relationships with large PLCs and major corporate clients - this role will give you the platform to thrive.

What You'll Be Doing Manage and grow an established commercial portfolio worth €800k+ in income.

Lead on client strategy, renewals, negotiations, and stakeholder management.

Partner with the Regional Director and senior leadership team to shape strategic projects.

Build strong relationships with major Irish companies and global insurers.

Mentor and guide your Account Executive, helping them grow while you focus on large-scale client acquisition.

Position yourself to move into a leadership role within 24 months, with real succession planning in place.

What You Bring A deep understanding of the Irish insurance landscape.

Strong client-facing skills - confident presenting, negotiating, and influencing.

A proactive, strategic mindset - someone who thinks ahead and gets things done.

Natural leadership qualities - you may already be mentoring others or ready to start.

A genuine interest in continuous improvement and contributing to wider team success.
