Energy Pricing Manager

About the Role :

Flogas Ireland is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Energy Pricing Manager to lead the development and execution of pricing strategies for our natural gas and electricity portfolios. This role is central to margin management and involves working closely with various internal stakeholders to ensure pricing remains competitive, compliant, and aligned with market trends. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic insights, managing risk, and contributing to the overall profitability of the business through detailed market analysis and pricing innovation.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities :

Pricing & Strategy

• Oversee the regular calculation and publication of pricing tariffs in response to commodity market movements.
• Continuously improve pricing models and methodologies to enhance competitiveness and margin control.
• Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate and implement new pricing strategies tailored to market segments.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commodity pricing, preferably within the energy sector, and a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role. They will hold a third-level degree in a numerically driven discipline such as finance, business, engineering, science, or technology. Strong data management and analysis skills are essential, including advanced Excel, SQL, and VBA. This person should be adaptable, commercially aware, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement.
