HGV Mechanic

We Are Hiring! Circet Ireland are looking for HGV Mechanic to join our team in Dublin 24. Job Purpose : Their primary duties include routine vehicle maintenance of our own fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles to meet VOSA standards, diagnosis of vehicle equipment and preparation of vehicles for NCT / MOT inspections. Key Responsibilities & Duties : Complete all job-related records in line with Circet standards Work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues Adhere to correct working procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to management Keep the working area clean and tidy, reporting any Health and Safety issues promptly Report faulty facility / equipment promptly Participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company Carrying out 6 weekly inspections Mot preparation / presentation Complete job cards correctly and in line with O licence Ensure all aspects of H&S working practice are adhered to Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicles and plant faults Undertake any other duties or activities as required Requirements Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team as well as on their own initiative Flexible approach to working hours HGV licence an advantage, but not essential At least 3 years experience in heavy vehicle / plant maintenance A full clean licence To be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
