HGV Mechanic

Circet Ireland are looking for HGV Mechanic to join our team in Dublin 24.

Job Purpose :

Their primary duties include routine vehicle maintenance of our own fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles to meet VOSA standards, diagnosis of vehicle equipment and preparation of vehicles for NCT / MOT inspections.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

• Complete all job-related records in line with Circet standards
• Work as part of a team, maintaining a good working relationship between colleagues
• Adhere to correct working procedures, highlighting any errors or safety issues promptly to management
• Keep the working area clean and tidy, reporting any Health and Safety issues promptly
• Report faulty facility / equipment promptly
• Participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company
• Carrying out 6 weekly inspections
• Mot preparation / presentation
• Complete job cards correctly and in line with O licence
• Ensure all aspects of H&S working practice are adhered to
• Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicles and plant faults
• Undertake any other duties or activities as required
