Job Title : Senior Business Analyst

Location : Dublin City Centre

Job Type : 4-6 Months full time then circa 2 days per week.

Work Type : Contract

Overview of Role A long term (2-3 year) contract for a Senior Business Analyst with a Public Sector client.

Initially full time for the first 4-6 months and then circa 2 days per week for the remainder of the contract.

The Business Analyst will report to the Head of Corporate Affairs on a day-to-day basis and will provide updates to the Executive Management Team as required.

The Business Analysts will :

Work with staff to understand current 'as is' processes insofar as they relate to the digital platform Document 'as is' process flows and associated business rules Analyse system template forms (portal and back office) to identify and map all data fields Clarify / identify business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and other appropriate techniques Document new functional requirements and the particular business needs underlying those requirements Throughout the life of the project, review and validate proposed solutions to ensure they meet requirements.

Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices Assist in the development and implementation of a testing strategy.

Create user cases detailing the business requirements & the impacted application Required Experience 7+ years working as a Business Analyst.

Experience in leading complex projects / programmes.

Demonstrated and analytical thinking to Solve problems.

Experience assessing and understand the impact of technology change.

Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills The ability to build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders Level 7 qualification plus a Prince and / or PMP certification Available to start the contract in July would be ideal.
