The Role : Seabridge have a vacancy for a Transport Co-ordinator based at our Mygan office. Reporting to the Operations Manager. Main Duties & Responsibilities : Plan and schedule full trailer loads between Ireland and the UK daily. Co-ordinate with the Operations Manager regarding service updates and scheduling issues. Liaise directly with clients, maintaining professional and timely communication. Serveasthefirstpointofcontactforcustomers,suppliers,shippers,andconsignees. Manage daily transport bookings, ensuring all timeframes are met. Monitor and maintain the fleet of trailers via Mygan, ensuring regular cleaning and upkeep. Overseeweeklytrailerturnaroundandmaintaindailytraileryardreports. Manage Export Groupage trailer operations. Track and control all shipments, keeping clients informed at each stage. Ensure timely completion of all collections and deliveries. Provideallnecessaryinformationtofacilitateefficientcustomsclearance. Work closely with the warehouse team on loading and delivery schedules. Issue and communicate clear instructions to hauliers and drivers. Be the operational contact for all hauliers and drivers for delivery and collection matters. Deliverconsistentlyhighstandardsofcustomerservice. Identify potential sales leads and pass them to the commercial team. Obtaintransportratesandprovidequotationstocustomers. Ensure prompt and accurate invoicing of customers. Record accruals for suppliers appropriately. Complete CPLS reporting and address low margin loads as needed. Minimum Requirements : Previous experience in a transport planning or co-ordination role, preferably in an Ireland UK logistics environment. Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskillsforeffectiveclientandstakeholder interaction. Abilitytomulti-taskandworkunderpressureinafast-pacedenvironment. Highattentiontodetailwithstrongorganisationalandreportingskills. Proficientinusingtransportmanagementsystems,ideallyAzyra. Aclearunderstandingoftraileroperations,customsclearanceprocesses,andgroupage logistics. Customer-focusedmindsetwithaproactiveapproachtoproblem-solving. Capableofworkingbothindependentlyandaspartofateam. Familiaritywithinvoicingproceduresandcostcontrol(accruals,CPLS,margintracking).
