A leading reinsurance company in Dublin are seeking a Qualified Actuary to join its Actuarial Operations function as a Manager. This position is based in Dublin city centre and has a hybrid working policy.
About the Actuarial Manager – Operations role
Reporting to the Senior Actuarial Manager, you will be instrumental in the ongoing development of our Operations function. As an Actuarial Manager, you will lead a team of actuaries and oversee a diverse portfolio of reinsurance solutions, including traditional life, payout and structured reinsurance across Europe and beyond.
Duties for this role include (but are not limited to) :
- Comprehensive Portfolio Knowledge : Develop a thorough understanding of CL Re’s transactions to provide strategic insights on deal structures and anticipated outcomes.
- Process Innovation : Design and implement streamlined systems and workflows to enhance data management and account review efficiency.
- Client Engagement : Establish and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Data Integrity : Oversee accurate data validation and cleansing to support robust valuation processes.
- Regulatory Adherence : Ensure full compliance with organizational policies and all relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
Actuarial skills required
This position would suit a Qualifi ed Actuary with a reinsurancebackground and ideally have experience of the following :
An actuarial qualification along with experience in the reinsurance sector.Strong problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making skills, with the confidence to act autonomously when needed.A proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships.Proactive and self-driven; effective both independently and as part of a team.Skilled at identifying and resolving operational issues, including data quality challenges.
