What does this role entail?
You will play a key role in managing employee relations cases and supporting projects. As part of the Strategic Partner team, you will partner globally across all functions, ensuring legal compliance, driving process improvements, and contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture.
Your Responsibilities
Employee Relations :
- Establish global ER processes, ensuring consistency, clear accountability, and defined response times.
- Manage end-to-end ER cases, including disciplinaries, underperformance, probations, and exits, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. Partnering holistically with Business leaders and Partners to ensure excellence in outcomes.
- Provide expert employment law advice across all geographies where the company operates or plans to expand.
- Represent the People team in audits, business continuity planning (BCP), risk management, security, and compliance matters.
- Identify trends and report insights to drive data-informed decisions and proactive interventions.
- Coach managers and leaders on handling people related matters confidently and effectively.
Projects & Process Improvement :
Scope and execute on standard projects or workstreams independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Continuously assess and enhance People policies and self service content ensuring available content is clear, current, and accessible.Use data insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and drive high organisational performance.Support the rollout of People team solutions and systems, providing support and training to ensure adoption.Knowledge Sharing & Community Building :
Contribute to building a robust knowledge base within the Strategic Partner team, supporting a community of learning and driving innovation.Identify opportunities for process improvements and to streamline ways of working.Share best practices and insights, encouraging continuous improvement and consistency across all people-related initiatives.Measures of Success
Case resolution time : % of cases closed within agreed SLAs.Frequency and quality of data-driven insights shared with business leaders and partners (e.g. attrition patterns).Proactive interventions : number of trends identified from cases leading to preventative actions (training, policy updates, etc.).Time taken to implement process improvements or policy updates (tracked vs. initial timeline estimates).Number of tier 0 resources (self-service content) created or updated to support consistent ER processesProject Delivery : % of People projects completed on time and within scope, with clear business impact.Improved or maintained eSat scores.Number of best practices, policies, or case studies added to the Strategic Partner team's knowledge baseRequirements
Key Expectations
Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.Experience in a Consulting or Business Analyst role.Proven experience in employee relations, including handling complex cases.Knowledge of employment law across multiple regions.Experience driving process improvements and policy development.Proven track record to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to delivery.Skills
