Training Lead - Dublin

Training Lead - Healthcare Setting Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Training Lead to join their team. The duration of the post is initially 12 Months with possible extension thereafter. Working 35 hours per week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €32.54 based on an annualised salary of €59,419 and will accrue 30 days' annual leave per year. The role is based fully onsite in Dublin 8. Purpose of the role The purpose of the Training Lead role is to lead the planning, development, and delivery of training and learning services for the successful implementation of the upgraded system. This role ensures that all users are equipped with the knowledge and skills to adopt the new system effectively, supporting safe and efficient patient care. Key duties will include : Training Strategy & Leadership Lead the Learning Strategy Assessment (LSA) and contribute to the organisational change campaign. Develop and oversee the Learning Plan, including Training needs analysis, Resource planning (trainers, super users, training rooms, devices) Scheduling and tracking. Manage the training team, including trainer scheduling, performance, and development. Ensure a sustainable training model is in place for ongoing training and optimisation. Learning Design & Delivery Oversee the design, development, and localisation of training materials, including eLearning modules, Microlearning content (e.g., short videos, tooltips, interactive guides) Job aids, quick reference guides (QRGs), and workflow lab guides Deliver and manage Train-the-Trainer programmes and materials localisation workshops. Implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) to track participation and performance. Digital Learning & Innovation Champion the use of digital learning tools and microlearning strategies to support just-in-time learning. Develop online tutorials, interactive simulations, and performance support tools. Governance, Quality & Reporting Ensure quality control and governance of all training programmes. Monitor training effectiveness and user readiness through feedback, assessments, and adoption metrics. Provide regular reports and insights to support continuous improvement. Other Support the development and maintenance of systematic processes for sharing information, skills and expertise between stakeholders within and outside of the organisation to ensure critical knowledge is retained, understood and can be utilised effectively. Support Organisational Readiness activities during the project and in advance of the system go-live. Academic / Professional Qualifications and / or relevant Experience Each candidate must have : Proven experience in training delivery or digital learning, ideally in healthcare or IT system implementations. AND Experience in developing digital learning content, including microlearning and mobile-friendly formats. Desirable : Qualification in Education, Instructional Design, Digital Learning, Project Management, Health Informatics, or a related field. Technical / Clinical Competencies Required : Knowledge of project management principles and change management. Desirable : Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Rise). Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare terminology.
