About the Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the store, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and a high-quality fresh food offering at all times. You will play a key role in achieving sales and profitability targets through strong leadership, operational excellence, and a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth running of daily store operations;
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment;
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales and profitability targets, including gross profit margin, net margin, and waste reduction;
- Ensure exceptional store presentation and merchandising in line with brand guidelines;
- Manage employee scheduling, rostering, and leave records;
- Actively engage with the Store Owner to drive business performance;
- Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently;
- Implement store planograms and ensure optimal product range;
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork across all levels.
What we’re looking for
Minimum 2 years’ + experience in a retail management role;Strong knowledge of KPIs, targets, and actioning reports;Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);Excellent communication and delegation skills;A highly driven individual with a strong work ethic;Passion for grocery retail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?
