Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator We are currently recruiting an Electrical Estimator for a leading engineering services company. The role will be based in Dublin to work on a range of Data Centre projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Estimating Manager and cross functional teams of engineers and technical specialists to prepare competitive, accurate and compliant tenders. Responsibilities : Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to submission and post tender reviews Prepare detailed cost estimates and take offs based on tender drawings and specifications Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information Assess and compile subcontractor quotations to ensure compliance with project requirements Attend internal and external meetings, including pre and post tender interviews Maintain accurate and organised records of estimates, clarifications and communications Identify bid opportunities and provide input into bid / no-bid decisions Collaborate closely with design, engineering and commercial teams throughout the tender process Requirements : Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline This Electrical Estimator will need a minimum of 5 years experience in an electrical estimating role Experience in data centre or other infrastructure projects highly desirable Proficient in MS Office Suite and estimating software Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical, organisational and communication skills Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Eagerness to learn and develop professionally with a commitment to continuous improvement Benefits : Salary €75,000 - €95,000 DOE Pension Vehicle allowance 25 Days Annual Leave CPD support Full Benefits package on application If you are an Electrical Estimator who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Kate OHerlihy or call for a confidential discussion.
