Quantity Surveyor

Overview PM Group's OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor for one of our client's based in Dublin. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (mechanical / electrical / some civil construction) Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and budgets for mechanical / electrical engineering projects Estimate lead, check and review multiple estimates in accordance standard procedures Manage change control procedures and tools and associated deliverables Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / leads across multiple projects for approval Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues Respond to and resolve enquiries from Project Managers, Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments including monthly accruals in a professional and timely manner Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with clients and peers at all levels, with good presentation skills Qualifications 10 to 15 years' relevant experience in a similar role Relevant degree qualifications Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and clients to provide or obtain related information Strong Mechanical and Electrical background is preferable Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Why PM Group?
