Bar & Trainee Event Manager

We are currently looking for a Bar and Trainee Event Manager to join our team at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin. Key Responsibilities : Assisting with the daily operations of the hotel bar while learning the core functions of event management within the Dublin Royal Convention Centre. Supporting the Meetings & Events team in the preparation and execution of conferences, banquets, and private events. Supervising bar service during events and ensuring seamless coordination between the bar and event operations. Ensuring all event spaces are set to the required standard and guest specifications. Working closely with the Events and F&B departments to maximise guest satisfaction and event success. Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed. Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards across both bar and event functions. Supporting stock control, ordering bar and event-related supplies as required. Participating in ongoing training and on-the-job learning with the aim of progressing into an Event Manager role. Requirements for this role include : Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality environment. A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences. A genuine interest in developing a career in Meetings & Events management. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Organisational ability with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
