Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Location : Dublin (Hybrid) Salary : €65,000 to €75,000 DOE We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to take the lead on innovative building projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, residential, education, and pharmaceutical. Responsibilities : Lead and manage mechanical design on projects of all sizes, ensuring best-in-class engineering delivery Oversee mechanical project work across offices, ensuring consistency and quality Coordinate project cost control, planning, and resource management Provide leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and client-facing situations Liaise with other internal offices and attend client meetings and site visits as required Ensure compliance with national standards and promote sustainable design principles Requirements : Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum Level 8) 6+ years' experience in a building services consultancy Proven experience across mechanical systems including HVAC, water services, LTHW, drainage, BMS, and fuels In-depth knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, particularly Part B, F, G, and L Strong project management ability with a track record of leading successful projects Experience with thermal modelling, dynamic energy simulation, and BIM is highly desirable Chartership or working toward Chartership is preferred Benefits : Salary €65,000 to €75,000 DOE Paid overtime / time in lieu / flexitime policy Annual performance bonus + regular salary reviews Hybrid working options Educational support, including Chartership Additional leave after 5 years' service Interested?
