To collate, assessment and intervention information and expertise for the purpose of developing an individualised community support service. To document information, update records, and complete necessary paperwork for communication and accountability purposes. To ensure all interaction with clients is approached with dignity, respect, equality and incorporates choice. A flexible shift system will operate Lone Working A full, clean driving license, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience is required. To promote the development of independent living skills, and to assist service users in their daily living within a Day service, ensuring their safety and well – being at all times.
Minimum Education & Skills required
- Minimum QQI Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience working with people with a disability.
A clear understanding of the philosophy of independent living and community integration will be required to be demonstrated.
