This is a full time role worked Monday to Friday and is fixed term for 12 months.
An exciting opportunity for an Operational Manager to support he day to day running for the adult and Young People Gender service.
The post holder will work full time within the Gender Service – both Adult and Young People. The post holder will offer leadership and service development to this continual developing service with a focus on implementing initiative to improve waiting times. They will manage a range of staff including clinical and admin who have been employed under the Scottish Government strategy to improve access to Gender Healthcare.
The Sandyford Gender Reassignment Service provides assessments and treatments for adults and children and Young People wishing to be considered for gender reassignment. It is a multi-disciplinary, area service tasked with assessing, offering interventions and assisting service users in finding the best solutions to their current presentations. The Sandyford Gender Clinic is the largest service of its kind in Scotland, receiving referrals from across Scotland. Gender Identity Services have recently been incorporated within a National Managed Clinical Network hosted by Greater Glasgow and Clyde which provides opportunities for networking and involvement in service developments nationally
