About the Role : An experienced Site Inspector is required to carry out site inspections, produce high-quality reports, and ensure that construction works are completed in accordance with Irish Building Regulations and the agreed project scope. The ideal candidate will have the confidence to liaise directly with contractors and a strong understanding of construction standards across multiple trades. This role would particularly suit someone with a carpentry or site-based construction background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple inspections independently and efficiently. Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed inspections across a range of active sites.
• Prepare accurate, well-structured reports highlighting compliance and technical findings.
• Assess ongoing works against building regulations and statutory standards.
• Liaise with project managers and assist in coordinating remedial actions.
• Attend follow-up inspections and verify quality of completed work.
• Act as the main site contact for queries related to compliance and quality.
• Make informed technical judgments and represent the firm in a professional manner. Requirements :
• Minimum 10 years' construction site experience (multi-trade exposure preferred).
• Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations.
• Background in carpentry or general trades is advantageous.
• Strong report-writing skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable interacting with contractors, engineers, and clients.
• Highly organised, self-driven, and able to manage inspections independently.
