The Interim Speech & Language Therapist Manager will work in collaboration with CDNMs in the Health Region and other Discipline Managers in CDNTS, Primary Care and CAMHS to ensure particular elements as set out in this Job Specification and that emerge as service priorities are progressed.

The Interim Speech & Language Therapist Manager (ISLTM) is appointed to provide professional leadership, guidance, and support to Speech & LanguageTherapy staff within a multidisciplinary service model.

Their service focuses on developing high-quality, integrated services for children with complex needs and their families, ensuring professional standards are maintained, and collaborating with other key services like Primary Care and CAMHS.

The ISLTM will facilitate continuous quality improvement, manage clinical pathways, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and provide support in managing issues such as referral intake, caseloads, and staff development.
