A highly regarded organisation with state of the art facilities and repeat winners of Top / Best Places Employer awards. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years production management experience gained across the wider manufacturing industry. Requirements : Hold a relevant Bachelors Degree 5+ years manufacturing management experience, within medical devices, pharma or food is advantageous but not limited to. A sound people leader with a rounded understanding of successful manufacturing and production management. Able to work with and communicate across all levels of the business. Key Duties & Responsibilities : Lead the daily operations of the production team, ensuring the efficient, safe and on-time delivery of products and business targets. Work closely with the Shift Supervisors, allocate tasks to team and providing guidance and resolving any issues. Oversee production processes, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and overall production goals. Work with the wider Quality Team, Supply Chain and Customer Service to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction. Actively participate in weekly production and monthly management meetings to report progress, challenges and future plans. Develop and maintain production schedules, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance production capacity, quality and overall efficiency. Organise training programs in partnership with HR to enhance employee skills and productivity. Comply with the QMS and Quality team to ensure products meet required specs and expectations. Team leadership, performance, discipline and development. Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the continuous development of internal processes and systems. Follow EHS and company regulations, standards and principles.
