Head Chef - Monday - Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef position based in Dublin City Centre.

Location : Dublin City Centre

Rate of pay : €45,000 - €55,000 per annum

Working pattern : 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities

Develop seasonal, locally sourced menus aligned with client expectations.

Oversee high-standard food preparation and timely service delivery.

Ensure ingredient availability and address shortages proactively.

Support Exec Chef and contribute to new food concepts and service styles.

Manage supplier quality issues and coordinate stock ordering and stocktaking.

Minimize food waste and control costs through efficient purchasing.

Monitor and achieve budgetary targets using menu costing and financial metrics.

Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring adherence to standards.

Conduct daily briefings, provide coaching, and deliver on-job training.

Handle performance appraisals, manage poor performance, and induct new staff.

Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards (COSHH, HACCP).

Maintain accurate temperature logs, food labeling, and equipment checks.

Engage with customers professionally, seeking feedback to improve service.

Collaborate with site colleagues to deliver excellent customer experiences.
