Position
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST MANAGER
TEMPORARY (12 MONTHS) FULL-TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week)
CHILDREN'S SERVICES, DUBLIN
Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Location
: Three Children's Disability Network Teams — Blakestown, Blanchardstown and Cabra, reporting to the Children's Services in Dublin.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
Current registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council)
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in occupational therapy, with significant pediatric / children's disability experience
Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
Strong knowledge of children's disability services and multidisciplinary team working
Full Drivers Licence
Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
Have an organisational commitment to lead through the Avista Core Values and vision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams
A willingness to learn and develop professionally
Experience in providing Clinical Supervision
Postgraduate qualification in management, leadership, or specialized pediatric occupational therapy
Experience working within Children's Disability Network Teams or similar integrated service models
Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to children's disability services
Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development
Applicants should possess Level 3 Behavioural Competencies of Avista competency framework
