The Children and Young People's Service within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports, residential, family support and education services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex needs and their families. This post is being recruited for our three Children's Disability Network Teams : Blakestown, Blanchardstown and Cabra. - Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work. Essential : Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution Current registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council) Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in occupational therapy, with significant pediatric / children's disability experience Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services Strong knowledge of children's disability services and multidisciplinary team working Full Drivers Licence Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative. Have an organisational commitment to lead through the Avista Core Values and vision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. The ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams. A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
