Main Purpose of Role We have a requirement for a Controls & Automation Technician / Commissioning Engineer to work on Water and Wastewater projects across Ireland and the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established contractor.
The successful candidate will join the Murphy Water engineering business within the Automation & Controls Department reporting to the Automation & Controls Team Manager.
Qualifications Candidate must be a qualified Electrician with a L6 National Craft Certificate, (Electrical or Instrumentation).
Role Duties - Reporting to the Automation & Controls Team Manager - Onsite validation and commissioning of PLC based electrical control systems and instrumentation - Electrical equipment onsite commissioning - Checking and testing electrical and instrumentation MCC panels - Checking electrical and instrumentation MCC panel wiring schematics - Coordinate with all electrical and mechanical personnel to achieve project deadlines.
Skills / Experience - Motivated, self-starter with excellent communications skills - Minimum 5 years electrical experience in an industrial / process electrical commissioning role.
