Mechanical construction supervisor - west cork - managed services

Overview We have a requirement for a Mechanical Construction Supervisor to oversee major Pharmaceutical Construction Project's in West Cork.

Our client is a Global Pharmaceutical company and the successful candidate will be working within our Managed Services division.

The role is client-facing and requires the ability to inspire confidence throughout all phases of construction execution.

Our site-based Managed Service teams across Ireland provide a cost efficient and effective framework for project delivery to our clients.

We take projects ranging in capital value from €100k to €15 M from concept through all stages of the project life-cycle to handover.

We safely deliver diverse portfolios of projects including buildings, cleanrooms, utilities, process installations, regulatory upgrades and equipment replacements.

Responsibilities Co-ordinating the construction activities in the field, including review of RAMS, request of an obtaining of permits.

Ensuring the installations comply with the client Mechanical specifications.

Generates and manage close out of punch list items.

Highlights any cost increases / scope changes to the Project Engineer.

Witness testing of components where required.

Supports the validation engineer in the C&Q execution, in particular organises craft support.

Co-ordinates the construction windows required from production to facilitate installation.

Co-ordinates the permitting requirements facilitate installation.

Co-ordinates and tracks the IQ paperwork and the GMP sign off of same.

Qualifications Degree educated or exceptionally strong trades' background.

10+ years' experience in the Construction Sector.

At least ten years' experience in the Life-Science or Mission Critical Sectors.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.
