Avista is a progressive organisation, providing a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both Children and Adults in various locations across 3 Regions.
The organisation is looking for Candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a Person Centred, Community Based, Socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

STAFF NURSE
RESIDENTIAL, ST VINCENT'S CENTRE DUBLIN
PERMANENT- FULL TIME CONTRACT
Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Have up to date NMBI Registration (RNID preferable).
Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID).
Experience in working in the area of intellectual disability.
Full clean Irish manual driving licence
Knowledge of person centred planning and an awareness of HIQA.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have experience of supporting people to integrate into their community
Adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best live and develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework as set out in the job description.
