International Director Of Accounting - Hybrid - Tech - 12M

An innovative Tech organisation based in Dublin city centre is looking for an International Director of Accounting on a 12-month Fixed-term contract to lead the team through the next phase of the journey.

The person will oversee the accounting activities for various international subsidiaries and people leadership of the international accounting team members based in Ireland and India.

This person will lead any other ad hoc and special projects pertaining to international accounting that arise.

Hybrid Work Model : On site at the Dublin office Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

This approach ensures effective collaboration, decision making, and a strong culture across the team.

What is involved : Lead the monthly accounting close process for the international subsidiaries Lead the international accounting team members as a leader Oversee the annual statutory audits of our international subsidiaries, including preparing the annual international standalone financial statements Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with the international accounting standards of the foreign subsidiaries Evaluate accounting issues related to non-routine and complex transactions, conducting research to identify applicable accounting guidance Maintain an effective control environment, both financial and operational As necessary, assist in or lead special projects Requirements ACA / ACCA or equivalent required Master's degree in accounting or finance level of education from an accredited university 7 years + of accounting experience NetSuite experience preferred Prior management experience preferred Strong knowledge of IFRS Experience with multi-national companies, namely US-based businesses with operations in India and Ireland Financial reporting experience Advanced knowledge of Excel
