My client is seeking a motivated
Maintenance & Reliability Technician
to join our team in a regulated manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a focus on safety and quality, and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Work safely : identify risks and implement mitigation actions where required
Respond promptly and appropriately to equipment failures or issues in a cross functional environment
Record interventions, including failure codes, and provide preventative action solutions
Execute planned maintenance routines : predictive, preventative, and calibration activities
Complete Work Orders on time while ensuring safety, compliance, and accurate asset management data
Provide clear written and verbal handovers to colleagues
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify enhancements to job plans and spare parts
Support major equipment overhauls and manage vendor activities on site
Contribute to training development and cross train colleagues
Assist with cross functional tasks such as set up, sampling, and cleaning validation activities
Work in teams applying Operational Excellence techniques to optimize processes
Maintain audit readiness, high housekeeping standards, and timely completion of training
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical discipline
2-4 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment
Experience in biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device, or GMP facility required
Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability in every task
High attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and openness to change
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver within scheduled timelines
